I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Alihi Lani #4.  The condo is beautiful and anything and everything that you might need has been provided by you. Your organization is outstanding and decorating so inviting! I cannot think of a thing to improve upon perfection!

I have stayed in many condos on Kauai over the last 16 years and by far, yours is THE BEST! The ocean views are incredible as are the sunsets from your property!

When I return to Kauai again, and I sure hope I do, I would only want to stay in Alihi Lani #4 or #5.

Our one week excursion at Alihi Lani was absolutely wonderful. The unit was very high quality, well kept and super clean, the first moment we walked in, my wife turned to me with a big fat grin on her face. My wife isn’t easily impressed and with 3 small kids her first priority is always about cleanliness. The master bedroom was spacious and the bathrooms were nice sized and stocked with high quality towels, lotions, soap, and shampoo. Both beds were extremely comfortable and provided ample nights of good shuteye. The unit has many ceiling fans and when used in tandem with the standing fans the air flow was nice, we rarely used the AC units in the bedroom. But the air conditioners came in handy when the kids needed to nap during the day or for the hotter than normal nights. The condo décor was very homey looking, all done in old fashion Hawaiian plantation style. Kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, pots, pans, and dinnerware; we even made good use of the sippy cups and Tupperware.

The pool was awesome and the lanai was top notch. Lots of lawn chairs, tables, and umbrellas were provided for lounging in the Hawaiian sun. We spent a full day hanging out at the pool with big smiles from all the kids. The view of the ocean is spectacular from the large patio deck.
The condo was stocked with lots of beach equipment (cooler, beach chairs with individual umbrellas, towels, boogie boards, etc…). We didn’t need to bring/buy anything from the store for our beach outings. I was amazed at how well stocked the unit was in all aspects. I honestly can’t think of anything that was overlooked.

The condo was very close to the shopping malls and within walking distance to the Sheraton beachfront and nearby restaurants. The location was perfect and we probably could have just stayed local for all of our grocery needs, but we did venture out to Costco to stock up on snacks for the kids.

Booking was a breeze through VBRO.com; Cynthia was very responsive to all of our questions. We ran into a few issues during our stay, but the onsite management folks (Bill/Kay) were quick to resolve them. I guess the only drawback of the unit is that it sets the bar very high.

This place really spoiled us rotten. If you plan on staying here all you really need to do is pack light and get here safely, because all the necessities are provided. We give this place our highest recommendation!

Fabulously comfortable and equipped condo with panoramic views of the pacific. Enjoyed buying fresh fish at local fish store and grilling on gas grills. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meal. Very comfortable beds with air conditioned bedrooms. Mostly had the pool to ourselves at this small property and sat out under the stars at night watching the palm trees sway in moonlight (my vision of Hawaii come true). Loved the location near historic Koloa.

This was our first trip to Kauai. Thank God we booked this condo. It is absolutely, positively, beautiful. We’ve never stayed in a condo that was so well stocked — if you think you might need it — look around, because most likely, it’s somewhere in the condo. The furnishings are gorgeous. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the pool is fabulous. This condo is located on the most beautiful part of Kauai — stunning, crashing waves and more sea turtles than you can count at one time are just steps across the road. And the sunsets? OMG. Every night. People drive to this location just to watch the sunsets. We didn’t have to drive — we walked 50 feet and were right there. And the walk to the pool was even shorter — a mere 15 feet from the lanai and we were in the pool. The owner is super easy to deal with — very helpful and responsive. We can’t comment on the people who maintain the condo on the island, because we never had to contact them because we NEVER had one problem in the two weeks we stayed in AL#1. Book this condo for your next vacation — you will NOT be disappointed!

The owner has thought of everything as other reviewers pointed. You feel like you’re home but steps to a pool and a few more to the ocean – front and center. Consider an upstairs unit for the above noise, however, we found the convenience of getting in and out of the pool more important.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the supplies (towels, beach chairs, boards, etc). Made for a pleasant stay. The a/c was appreciated for comfortable sleep. Great ocean view for watching sea turtles.

We used the pool a fair amount as well especially while we BBQ’ed. Really nice layout.

We greatly enjoyed our time in this condo. The layout with two master suites worked out to be perfect, plus being on the ground floor made access to the pool a breeze. We greatly appreciated having the a/c available in the bedrooms for sleeping. Kauai temperatures and humidity during our stay were above normal averages. It was fun seeing the sea turtles every day in the ocean just across the road from the condo. This condo is an excellent choice in the Po’ipu area.

Had a great family vacation with our two adult daughters. The location and condo was excellent. Conveniently located to the beaches nearby and perfect for viewing the sunsets. The condo had everything you needed for a beach vacation – beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, coolers, children’s toys if necessary, even suntan creams. We did not use the air conditioning as there was an adequate supply of stand alone fans plus ceiling fans. We met the onsite manager, Kay, who was very easy going and accommodating. The grounds and pool are well maintained and were serviced several times during our 10 day stay. There is an adequate number of lounge chairs at the pool and for much of the time we were the only ones using it. The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy for preparing at home meals to enjoy on the lanai. The ground floor unit made for easy walkout pool access.

It’s always a little weird seeing photos and videos of a place and then the real thing doesn’t really look like what you saw. But in this case, you get pretty much what you expect, which in this case is a lot. Place is right on the drive next to the ocean, with lots of places close by you can walk or drive to. It’s a good launch pad for going around the rest of Kauai. The place has everything you need (and everything that was listed and a little more too). We had 5 people and felt comfortable. Owner was helpful and responsive.Wouldn’t mind coming here again if I go to Kauai a second time.
